The last line about not listening and chewing furniture is one of two that I found funny. I liked Scully's line about "skittering across the linoleum and peeing in the corner" just as amusing--sick maybe but amusing. This episode was on last night and I have to admit that I liked it better than the first time around. The reason being that there were clues I caught now that I missed the first time. Same reason I watch other mystery shows on PBS. Agatha Christie, Alfred Hitchcock and Sir Arthur C. Doyle shows all give subtle hints that I don't catch the first time around. Guess I wouldn't make a very good detective.

I think that Karen suspected but needed proof that the Dole was Detwiler and her love of dogs prevented her from helping them track a dog. She had said that dogs were the best judges of character and I suspect that she had acquired that same ability to size people up quite quickly.

The ending was the best part next to the funny one-liners. I think it was the best way they could get the poster back into his office. I HAD hoped that Scully would have gone out to find a new one and give it to him herself but since she delivered this one to him, I guess I will have to settle for the next best thing.

Some of the episodes from this season were a little weak--they could have been stronger which has been a criticism on the other boards.
