Her real voice, that is. At least she always sounds like tht unless it's part of some 'persona' she came up with as a career move. She used to be on Saturday Night Live.

A lot of people didn't like the sterotypes especially those who like in tht part of the country. It sems to be the usual for XF though. A lot of the background people fit some set type like the teenagers they have on the show who ae always played very poorly. Have you seen Milagro yet Mat? (No spoilers) But a guy in that who is an XF production assistant who has appeared on the show a few times has got to be at least 25 and there he was playng a 16 year old! (and he doesn't look 16) I did like Holman in this and I thought he was more developed as a character than the guy with the wooden leg and his girelfriend who were just shown as typical small town hick types.

I enjoyed it too as just a fun ep. Not the greatest but not offensive except for the reason you mentioned. I loved Mulder's expression when the cow came crashing through. Poor cow. :-(

det :-)
