Scully didn't offer Skinner the opportunity to hand the tape over so she could make a copy, which would have been the obvious thing to say. Maybe she didn't want to make Skinner look like an even blunter tool by saying "Oh you couldn't get a copy?? *I* did, no problem!" ;)

I agree with you on the clothes thing that it is hard to work out the precise sequence of days having gone by, before Mulder came back to Washington. Possibly, his travelling arrangements were not instantaneous and he also had to regain some strength before he left Hosteen and co. I think that Mulder was quite serious about following Hosteen's advice and intended to complete the Blessing Way ritual healing so his spirit was fully back with him.

I do however have a theory about Albert and the tape memorising. I don't think he memorised it at all. CSM said to Skinner: "You're bluffing" and Skinner replied "Am I?" I think he *was* bluffing. Just the threat that all those other people had been told the contents of the tape was enough to protect them all. I believe Skinner was playing CSM and he got one over on him for once!
