its times like these that i could just kill myself for not having discovered TXF earlier. i mean, better late than never and all that, but although watching S1 is great, i can never quite get over the whole dated feel to it. i don't mean that in terms of the stories and the character's, but more in terms of hair styles and the development of the MSR. i mean, GA's hair is so much better now! and i always think it strange to watch eps where Mulder and Scully were just getting to know and trust each other. saying that, the quality and the originality of the story writing and the acting is as brilliant as any season. and some eps just kick ass! its interesting though, i also didn't like space, and i get the impression it didn't go down well generallly. yet, i've read a couple of critics on S1 and they all loved space. whats that about?! and one thing that hit me - does anyone else think that in S1, mulder was characterised to have more of an interest in 'other' women? i mean this in reference not only to phoebe but also like the woman in space, and possibly the doctor in eve. like when scully was going to have ethan, the boyfriend! it was just a thought, but to me it seemed that mulder notices other women less and less as series have gone on.

well, i might try to fit in a couple of eps this week. in between my busy revising schedule! keep your fingers crossed for me.

cvl :)
