Interesting questions--I wondered about it also until I saw these episodes for the third time. Mulder seems to like certain clothing items so I never gave it a second thought. However, I too think he stayed for a day--maybe two and then showed up in his apartment on the second (third) day after traveling back to DC. The next day would have been when they went to the greenhouse and mountain.

I wondered why Mulder didn't make a backup copy of the tape. Maybe an internal program only allowed one hard copy to be printed? What I could never understand is why he didn't give it to the Lone Gunmen for analysis! The other thing I could never figure out is why Scully didn't make a backup copy of the printed ones! (Guess I've been in a profession that requires multiple backup copies for too long!)

What I thought was that she had made a copy for Albert to keep to translate for her. Or else maybe Albert has photographic memory!!!!! Either way, the bluff was good.
