Subject: I was watching Lazarus from S1 the other night...

And even though I'd seen it before and I adore the season 1 eps it realy struck me this time how cheesy it was. And the acting by both DD AND GA was substandard. They have both gotten so much better since.

I guess my point is that people are always complaining that the show isn't as good as it was in the golden years (I've done it too!) and I think every year has its share of clunkers.

I wonder if DD saw some of these not so hot early eps again if he would still feel the show had gone down hill recently as much as he thinks it has.
