Subject: Mulder/Morris' afternoon delight with Kersh's secretary...

See we said you'd see more of her after that obscure singing scene in Triangle! What I'm, wondering is has she always had this thing for Mulder (well evey woman in the building probably does!) and has he ever returned any flirtations?

I loved Nic's description of Scully's reaction to seeing them together. So can I assume that everyone indeed thought Scully was at least a tad jealous? Because there were people who didn't think so at all. That's a bit too staunch in the noromo corner IMO if you honestly don't think there's anything between them at all. Hope I'm not offending anyone.

And the other big question, just for speculation mind you--don't panic anyone!--since Morris slept with the secretary in Mulder's body, if he secretary were to become pregnant who would the father legally be?! There's one for Jerry Springer!

Mat I'm glad you think I could assist Mulder with some suggestions to convince Scully. I'll help Mulder out any way I can! :-) I agree with you to some extent that in this situation he probably just couldn't think straight and drew a blank. It can be difficult coming up with something under pressure. Plus he had the added distraction of Morris' wife screaming at him from the porch and throwing his things out.

I agree wih Nic that the last scene was great. I think that's one of the very few times they *haven't* taken each other for granted about a case. The way I interpret that is that, even though they don't remember, I think there was some residual effect of the change and they both felt like something had occured between them. They just seemed so much closer in this last scene. Like they'd almost lost something but couldn't quite put their finger on what it was.

This phone call to each other reminds me a bi of that one in Sleepless when they were separated and Mulder was working with Krycek. Remember in that they didn't want to say goodbye? Here they also seemed to sense they had been separated somehow but can't remember the details. Just something they feel. Well that's what I got out of how that last scene was played. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. But I thought both DD and GA seemed to convey some sort change between them after this ordeal.

det :-)
