But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for!

Well, det, all I can say is that Scully has been known to be wrong here and there. (Like in practically *EVERY* ep!
:-( S'up with that anyway!?!) I do remember her making that statement but I give Scully less credence in assessing her brand new partner in the Pilot vs. Mulder assessing himself in S6. (No wonder poor Scully's always wrong! No one will support her in her time of need! *Sniff!* *Sob!*)

And like I told SMH above, ITA that Mulder should have just shut up and given his opinion. Just because he's not a Psychologist in the technical sense doesn't negate his education in that area. The whole reason he does what he does is because he has a psychology degree and can use that knowledge. Otherwise they might as well have hired some bozo with a Managerial Economics degree!

But I still contend that he's not a "Psychologist" so the statement is valid (albeit flippant). IMO it was just a case of Mulder mouthing off and trying to get by on technicalities. (NOOOOO!!! Not our Mulder! He *never* does that! ;-))

:-) SFP, detoured's arch nemesis ;-)
