LMAO! I think there's a few philes round here who might give you a run for your money for that True Defender title, SFP. ;o)

Glad to hear I'm not the only telly-talk-backer. Another scene that always has me yelling at the screen is when Mulder runs after a car, travelling at high speed. The sheer stupidity of that action calls for vocalisation of some kind. :D

I can see what you're saying about his job being FBI Agent and International Man of Mystery, rather than psychologistbut the major problem I have with the statement is that he said it in response to Scully asking him a very valid question about Wayne's possible reasons for doing the nasty deeds. He *is* a profiler, n'est pas? (Thought I'd bring a little added culture to the forum.)
