Well, it wasn’t as bad as last week’s (at least I didn’t feel nauseous through this one!). That’s about the best I can do, compliment-wise though! Certainly not a high spot for me, but there were some funny moments. So many inside jokes!

I think my fave one was the fact that ‘Rock the Boat (don’t rock the boat) Baby’ was being played during the High School reunion. Anyone else think this might be a nod to the *shippers* out there? LOLOL!! Especially since Mulder had just been dishing out dating advice to Holman, and then been on the receiving end. I reckon that song described Mulder’s dilemma with pushing their relationship further along, perfectly. “Rock the boat? Don’t rock the boat? hmmm, what’s a guy to do?” hee hee! There’s been plenty of bones for the more shippery among us to chew on this season, hasn’t there?

Scully had her rolling eyes head on again this ep, but I can’t say I blame her this time around. It was all more than slightly silly, wasn’t it? I think last time she rolled her eyes at Mulder this much, was in Kill Switch, but that time around it annoyed me. This time around, it made me laugh. Her stony-face reaction to Mulder telling her that he was giving Holman dating advice was funny, although I imagined her sitting there helpless with laughter until they cut back to show her real reaction.

I loved Mulder’s dive out of range of the cow, too. Action!Muldy - yaaayyy!!

And that’s all I have to say for now. Definitely not one of the best, but it wasn’t as bad as TOE.

And what’s up with the beeb *now*??!! No X-Files next Wednesday. And I hear a rumour there won't be any the week after, either. In spite of their protestations before S6 was shown that they were waiting to show the series without interruption. :o| Yeah, right.

Oh well, I’ll be out buying my S6 box set on Saturday, so stuff ‘em. ;o)
