Subject: SR819. hmmmm. well....

not a total disaster, but i don't think it'll go down as one of the best ever somehow! it definitely didn't grow on me, especially since as i now knew it was krycek and that was one of the few good bits last time. in fact, i'm struggling to write about anything else that was good. it seemed like a definite return to the old dark XF, which i guess really stuck out to me because of the earlier eps in S6. but to be honest, i'm not sure if that was a good thing or not.

and i got really p***ed of after a while with seeing skinner's purple veins - it totally grossed me out and not in a good way!

and i can't remember there being any good M/S moments - was there? although saying that - (hooray! i've remembered a bit i liked!) i thought the ending was interesting - that skinner is under krycek's devilish little thumb! makes you wonder what he'll do with it. i also liked mulder and scully's confusion at the end at not being allowed to pursue the investigation. especially after it came after skinner's regret at not being a good enough ally. i've always thought the relationship between M/S and skinner was interesting, i thought it was a nice way of keeping kind of open.

any other thoughts?

i'd be interested to know what SMH thought of krycek with long hair and a beard! still sexy?! :)

totally off the point - did anyone see the programme before SR819 on leah betts? i can't believe that since then nothing at all has changed - if anything, the drug scene just seems to have got worse. (i shall get off my soap box now!)
