Yes, the ending was very cute. Notice how they both snatched at the wrapping paper. I wondered what the pressies might be. Mulder's looked like a video. And Scully's - well, I don't like to say ;)

I agree, there has been a lot on the MSR so far this Season, but as I have said elsewhere (can't remember where now, another forum around here) that part of things has been OK by me. I fully expected there to be more obviously on the surface between them following the movie HWS and near-kiss.

Yes, I knew they only thought they were being shot, but I didn't like that it was suggested - even for a minute - that there were grounds to do so. Those ghosts seemed to be testing them and I didn't think they had a right, not knowing our heroes at all. It bugged me, really.
