Subject: Thoughts on Ghosts and Elegy

This is still an episode for me that I would love to enjoy, but there's still too much buts. But I'm hoping that this is one of the episodes that really does get better with age! I didn't like Triangle the first time I saw it either, but I do like it a lot now. Hmm, after seeing Ghosts twice now, I'm still not convinced, so maybe it just needs another watching?!

On the subject of ghosts, I actually never thought of the reflections of the dead girls in Elegy as ghosts. Now that I think about it, I guess one could call them ghosts, but I've always thought that ghosts are sort of "old people who have died a long long time ago" don't know why that is really. I think that in Elegy Scully wasn't really that afraid of the ghosts (or whatever) so much, but the fact that she was seeing them herself, especially after someone pointed out that people who were seeing them were seeing them because they were going to die soon too. At the time, she must have been very afraid of death and dying. Oh, those were the days... Is there a name for fans of Scully in pain? ;-)

A while ago a good friend of mine said that she didn't like Irresistible very much, since she thought that Scully was out of character in that one. I've always liked that ep, and had never thought of the same myself. So, I guess that the whole out of characterness depends on opinions of different people. I'd like to know what you all thought about that episode though.

Cookie of the week.
