Was the first thought that crossed my mind. I expected captain Janeway to show up at any moment, phaser on maximum, ready to blow CSM and his Borg buddies to another world. Was that the clue all those years? Was this what the conspiracy was all about? Considering the nature of the Borg, the Black Oil suddenly started to make a whole lot more sense.

Umm... does anyone have the slightest idea what I'm talking about? Any Star Trek fans around?

IHMO, SR819 was a *major* Star Trek ripp-... Umm, I mean homage, of course. ;o) Having said that, I must admit that I liked it a lot. Especially the end. Was I the only one who didn't recognise Krycek?

It was good to see a return to the old dark XF. And... no MSR! What a relieve!! Don't get me wrong, I like my MOTW and conspiracy eps with a bit of MSR mixed in, but after Triangle, HTGSC, Rain King, etc, etc, I'd just had a bit too much.

Well, this is it for now. I haven't had time yet to read all your posts, so that's what I'm gonna do first. (I wouldn't want to repeat things that have already been said a hundred times.)
