Subject: General Consensus: Terms Of Endearment Sucked

Terms of Endearment has too many problems to count! It was easily the worse episode of the season, if not of all time. I hated everything about this episode.

First off, we have Fox "anti-religion" Mulder easily accepting the existance of devils and the fact that they are here walking the earth. Tell me something, Agent Mulder, why it is so ridiculous to accept that anyone who is religious is indeed a good, spiritual person, but it is perfectly feasible that the bad side of religion not only exists but also participates in fetal harvesting!

Then, of course, there is the fact that this episode produced the dumbest, most ridiculous, most out of character Mulderism ever "I'm no psychologist" Oh, you're not a psychologist Mulder? Then what exactly is your degree then? And what exactly does a profiler do? Sheesh. That line pissed me off for the rest of the episode.

Then the woman at the end, the second wife. I felt like I should have been horrified at all the babies buried in the back yard, but I just couldn't bring myself to care. Why did this woman want a devil baby? Can someone explain that to me? Why would a woman bear multiple babies and bury them in the back yard because they didn't have horns? It made absolutely no sense to me at all.

Remember the scene when the devil guy (I can't remember his name)was giving the lady the blood test and he sees the picture of her sons and gets all sad? Were we supposed to feel bad for him? I just didn't understand at all.

And to top it all off we had barely any Mulder/Scully interaction. At least when episodes usually suck we can at least revel in M/S interaction. Blech.

Did anyone like this episode? If so, please speak up and tell me why?

SMH
