I don't want to see Mr and Mrs on the show. Or cosy coupledom. They can hint for all they're worth. They can talk in broad terms about the future. Scully can get weepy about children and Mulder become awed at how much she means to him. All fine. Just don't make it a soap opera, please CC. There may *be* a suitable marriage for Mulder. It would have to be to someone who can accept him warts and all. And clearly, sometimes Scully doesn't always like the look of those warts! But I value episodes that sensibly nudge the action and the MSR on. I don't have a hard heart when I think of them together. I'd expect them to be super-close after all this time. But for me, that doesn't have to be romantic in content.

I look forward to finding out about Mulder's bedroom decorations and waterbed!
