No, Mulder is no monk but The X Files has a very focussed plot development and though it has realism in one way, you still ask yourself how come he has only slept with one woman (The Vampire Kristen!). OK, I suppose he might go out with women when we're not watching but the impression we are always given is how his search for the truth is the only thing that really matters!

My response:

Sometimes I wonder if CC isn't going to tell us later that both Mulder and Scully have gone on dates frequently nd had relationships with other people but we just didn't see it onscreen. :-( But Mulder does seem like the lonely soul so consumed in his worek and his quest that he's always by himself. And CC did say in One Breath that he was pining for Scully. SO if he's pining he's not dating others I don't think.

Yes Dev you will see more of Spender and Fowley. You may be one of the few who want to! Many others wished for them never to return.
