Subject: The fear of CSM!

Well, everyone outside the Syndicate anyway seems be nervous around him - and Mulder of course. He must seem quite powerful, though, Cancerman, and he shows often enough how ruthless he is. He has seemingly no compassion for anyone. Everyone is there to do things for him and they'd better not question him. I liked it when Gibson said to him "You're afraid of me" and CSM looked really annoyed and argued back (a bit childishly, I thought, to a twelve year old) "I'm not afraid of you" I'm surprised it didn't lead to "Yes, you are", "No I'm not" bickering.
That's the first time anyone has ever agreed with me that they get into Mulder's motivations first and foremost. I suppose it's how I can decide whose side I'm on. I like to try to be in his head and I suppose to imagine how he feels about everything, including Scully. It's sort of appreciation from the inside out. Wonder if other people do it, too. I try to do it with Scully too, I suppose, but to a lesser extent.
Showing your age there, det, with Deep Purple. Super Group heaven!
