Is this the first time you're seeing the S1 episodes? I am surprised that there are people who have still not seen all the old progs. Lucky you if you have the pleasure of seeing new things.

The Flukeman was very ugly, I thought, especially that mouth. I have to disagree that 'Ascension' was boring. There is a lot of stuff on the mythology that unfolds after these two eps and as you view further and Scully returns, you'll see how it all fits together. Watch them again. They're good!

But '3' isn't.(IMHO!) It was the only ep to date in which Mulder is known to have slept with a woman (presumably as he was so depressed at Scully being missing) but it had a poor plot and there was just no life to it really. It doesn't really stand up against ninety nine per cent of other episodes. However - perhaps you have found something in it I didn't. :) devlin
