anyway, my question was about when mulder walks into the ballroom and the first thing he kinda does is look around and then sort of recognises something and goes 'hey!' or something like that. the next shot is of the blond singer. were we supposed to know her? i'm afraid the short sightedness led me down somewhat there! i didn't get mulder's reaction because he hadn't noticed scully yet.
