Subject: TLG and english accents
In reply to: nic 's message, "Pythagorean theories" on 03:22:00 01/20/00 Thu

the one thing that got me when scully is driving away with TLG, is that she looks over her shoulder before the guy has even run out to chase them. how did she know that someone would follow?

and re: the british accents - i didn't mind them too much. i get sick of all the posh accents you hear on american programmes so it was nice IMO to hear and english voice that was more colloquial. although i do agree on the captain!

your point about their reactions was interesting - i hadn't thought about it like that. i was a little strange they wouldn't listen, especially as mulder didn't sound remotely german.

did anyone else love the irony in the black guy having a go for telling the spy about the scientist - 'trust no one!' - if only scully were there to hear that one!

cvl :)
