Subject: A few more complaints
In reply to: detoured 's message, "Some general Dreamland complaints...but not much! ;-)" on 17:04:51 01/30/00 Sun

I saw the Dreamland episodes separately as they probably were supposed to, so I have some different opinions about its greatness. I did like a lot (how could someone not to, it was just so funny!) but I thought that the first part was a lot better than the second. I would think that it's easier for me to think of them as two episodes as for you who saw both of them together. I saw the two Reduxes together, and now I'm always having hard time telling whatever happens in which, I just confuse them and think of them as one episode.

I was laughing all the time (not out loud though, there were people sleeping in the other room!) during Dreamland I, it was just so much fun. One of my favorite scenes was the one where Mulder had been supposedly talking about Scully in his sleep, I wonder whatever goes through his mind that we don't know of... His "wife's" reactions were to all this were also great. The mirror scene was also amusing, but it's not my favorite part, I thought it was a bit awkward situation. But that's just my odd sense of humor. ;-)

Hmm, what was I going to say? Right, complain about the Dreamland II. Even though there were some wonderful scenes, I thought the plot was a bit lame. The ending where they just had to go back to the place where they had changed bodies was just too easy, I wish they would have made up some scientific or whatever way to do that! Also, I've never liked these endings where the people won't remember anything about what's happened afterwards. Well, if they won't, what's the point of making the whole episode at all?

Sorry, I didn't mean to criticise that much, I loved the episodes, but not the ending. About Mulder's bedroom, I always thought that it was Morris who put the mirrors and waterbed there. C'mon, if Mulder would have had a waterbed all this time, would he had slept on the couch? Sure, the bedroom was used as a storage (I never knew he had a bedroom either), but if there had been a waterbed stored in the back for years, would it still have been ready to use when Morris would have found it? Don't those things need some kind of maintenance? I don't think Mulder had put up the mirrors up there either, I'd like to think his mind isn't quite that dirty! I'm hoping that even if he decided to keep the bed, he got rid of the mirrors! ;-)

Got to go now,

Cookie of the week.
