I loved the Dreamland eps, but that part has always bothered me. The fact that he couldn't say something to her to prove it was really him. Something that only he could know. You can contrast it with Fletcher, who was able to convince his wife in less than a minute. And his wife has surely not seen the kinds of crazy paranormal things Scully has. So that did kind of bother me...

But again, Mulder didn't really try very hard, so we can't lay it at Scully's door. Fletcher gave his wife some real emotional stuff for her to believe. Mulder was just like, "this is your full name, and you ate that yogurt thing!" Not very convincing.

I haven't read the other responses yet, I wanted to first see what I would think...

So let's see.... I haven't seen a lot of the earlier 'important' eps... but he could probably refer to both the movie hallway scene and Triangle's hospital scene, they were very intimate conversations and they were all alone (except for us ;) ) But he probably wouldn't bring that up.

But if he didn't want to be too shippy... ;) maybe he could bring up Detour ("hey Scully, remember what we were doing in Detour? ;) ;) ) and how she sang "joy to the world" to him and how she wouldn't get naked into a sleeping bag with him. ;)

Okay I'm off to see what you all came up with. ;)
