Actually, det, I had not been so far down the line in thinking K & M scenes had 'overtones', til K reappeared in Piper Maru and there was maybe something that came out of that leather jacket look. (Too obvious?) Well, their behaviours certainly changed a lot since M & K were on opposite sides and it comes across (to me, anyhow) as a frisson of homosexuality. Now, maybe not on both sides, but Mulder does deal with Krycek quite differently to how he deals with others. *IMO* I'm not even saying Mulder knows he's doing it, but I think Krycek would like Mulder to know that he is doing it (if that makes sense!). I don't believe for one moment that CC would advance the plot at all along those lines, but it certainly makes their scenes go with a bang! (Ooops!) And I think SMH would agree with some of what I said....

And what you said about the 'bad date' hindsight just adds fuel to my fire. I was not on that track at all, back then!
