You can't find good qualities in that ep?

I will gladly point out the good qualities in Home. It features some of my all-time favorite M/S shippy moments.

What about when he tells her to find a man with a perfect gene pool and a high tolerance for being second-guessed? He had his hand on her back, and then he made the crack about corrective lenses and being abducted by aliens as his family's faults. And then he told her he'd never seen her as a mother before. It's so obvious he's the perfect gene pool for her!!!

Later, he's trying to get the Knicks game on t.v. and she says "you still wanna live here?" and he says, "Not if I can't get the Knicks game" and she says as long as infanticide doesn't weigh into his decision. I love it when they're sarcastic with each other! And then he calls her Mom!!!

Later, while they're trying to shoo the pigs, he says "Scully, would you consider me any less of a man if I told you I'm kind of excited right now?" And then she starts quoting Babe, and he says, "And they call me Spooky!!"

Their lines are perfect.
Scully: "Meanwhile, I've quit the FBI to become a spokesperson for the FBI." Mulder: "Smell this, it's perfume. Eau de ball."

And the sheriff's name was really Andy Taylor, but the deputy was all bent out of shape about them asking if he was Barney Fife.

I really liked this ep. The subject matter and gruesome scenes were awful, and the violence was the worst. :-(~ But all the comic relief, M/S banter and mondo flirting were priceless and made it an incredible ep.

(Granted I wouldn't be able to quote it so well if I hadn't watched it again on Halloween. It was the perfect ep for them to re-run on Halloween).

The awful/scary/sad thing is, I sometimes can still vividly hear the mother say, "I'm haaawwwngry" when I think about being hungry. Ick.
