Subject: The 'odd' crying was between I and II
In reply to: yankeesnut 's message, "Re: redux I/II" on 16:17:30 11/12/99 Fri

In the last discussion we had about DD's crying, there was a feeling that Mulder cries differently at different times. People felt that some of this crying is 'OK' but some is just embarrassing/unconvincing etc. I didn't subscribe to this view, feeling that his crying is appropriate to the depth of emotion or different circumstances that have made him cry. Anyway, as my title suggests, it wasn't his crying at the end of Redux II that was seen as strange/etc but the bit where he is sitting there with his gun, contemplating taking his life. Personally speaking, I was right there with him, tears and all.

I too love these eps. Lots of characters and things going on and tension. I have lost of fave moments. Here's one: I loved the First Elder at the race course, speaking with CSM and CSM saying "I never underestimated Mulder. I still don't." Yay!!
