I don't think this was like that, though. Occasionally, when I am watching an episode by a writer that is not so familiar with the characters or the tone of the show, you get one liners put into M & S's mouths which are just not funny. They make you cringe. 'Bad Blood' was a great, original approach to the story telling and even more interesting because of the double narrative. How else are we to find out what annoys M about S and vice versa? It was all the kind of things you *think* but never say out loud. Yes, Mitch was very good. The last scene, too, in the office was great. All three managed to play it so straight and so serious, whilst delivering hilarious lines. But what I wouldn't give to hear Mulder laugh out loud again like he did when he was lying on the bed. Priceless.
