it's been ages since we talked! i loved our discusions with other people on the old official boards.

tricky point as ever re: emily!. i don't know about other children, but what struck me with emily was scully's connection with the child. i mean, she had this voice telling her to go to emily, but for scully to find out she has a child, and then to feel such an attachment i thought was a little odd. not that i have any experience (!) but i would have thought it would be difficult to feel a bond for a child you did not give birth to, and who you did not create. emily was created without scully's knowledge and consent, how could she feel attached to a child when the only connection she has with it, is by DNA?
this is really only an opinion of mine, and i'm not suggesting that scully should have just ignored emily's presence. i think i'm just too cynical at times, and not all that sentimental! apart from all that, i actually quite liked the ep. and was i the only one who thought mulder's mr potato head face was scarily life like?!
