Darkness Falls is one of my all time favourite eps so I had to comment. It is also one of my Christmas tapes so I watched it only days ago. I love the part where Scully goes ape over the mites getting on her. Then the part where they are sitting together as you both mentioned. I like all of the show and I really don't know why. There are some shippy overtones but not enough to make me like the ep for that reason entirely. I think it was a good story and I remember enjoying the suspense and scariness when i first watched. it.

I think I have to disagree with you on the pregnancy issue. I think everybody knew because the wardrobe people have obviously launched their coverup selection.

" And this week ladies and gentlemen Scully is wearing a lovely bulky parka and stunning plaid mid thigh length button up shirt with complimenting leggings."

She looks about middle stage in this ep. It was the frist ep where I noticed the coverup clothes. I love to watch the pregnancy eps and try and figure out if people who didn't know she was pregnant would notice.
