Hi All,
I just watched the above show today and I have a question about the part where Scully goes to the Leper colony and the Syndicate Elder comes there and tells her all about it and lets her ring up Mulder on his mobile.

Why did he come there? How did he know she was there? Was he covering up the project or was Dr Zama working on his own agenda? Was the elder in fact helping or saving Scully or Mulder or both? If so, why? He is the one who gave the orders to have CSM shot so he isn't a good guy. Why then did he exposed himself to Scully? I never understood why he took the time to go there and meet with her. I hear the word s but don't understand the motive.
