"Never mind that," she tells Rab-id brightly. "Let's plump up those pillows." Rab-id tries to edge away from KS, but the pain killers have left her too dopey to think clearly.

*Plump, plump, plump.* "Why Rab-id, your face has turned blue!" KS picks up the pillow she's placed on Rab-id's face. "Oh dear, I do get plumping mixed up with suffocating. Silly me!"

-KS, who never in a million years would actually attempt to burn or suffocate dear Rab-id in real life. Hope you get better soon!

By the way, since my husband is a librarian and it seems to be such a dangerous life, do you think I should take out additional life insurance on him?
