Another Important Tip or Two

When you are going to put your knitting away, push the stitches all the way to the knob end of the needle, and store in a sturdy bag that is big enough to let you put them in pointed ends up. You can also get a soft rubbery thing that can go on the tips. When you pull the needles out of the bag, you won't pull your stitches off the needle at the same time.

The second tip is keep it away from pets, nosy adults who don't knit and away from leather furniture!

Three--if you are using a book--make a photo copy and put it in one of those page protectors that you can slide sheets of paper into. Saves your book! If you have a sheet or booklet that fits, put it into a protector as well.

I finished an afghan and a fisherman knit sweater this summer but haven't started a new knitting project. I have a sweater for my granddaughter that I am crocheting but that's a project for the car.
