I'm still in shock over yesterday's events. My heart goes out to the families of those on the airplanes, at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and those who perished in the rescue efforts.

Not much work got done here yesterday. Once word got out, we all crowded into the conference room to watch the unfolding events. I left around 11:00 or so, and was glad I was on my bicycle! The traffic was bumper to bumper most of the way home and would have taken me twice as long by car. We have offices in NY at one of the WTC buildings. Most employees have been accounted for, but some are still missing. I haven't heard of any of my co-workers here in DC having relatives who worked at the Pentagon.

It was a horrific event, but we will recover.
