Subject: I've got presents, Kande sings, home from Italy

The entire crew from Shipperville crowds around her in the Klub.

"Give me a little breathing room," Kande hollers, red-faced but smiling as she climbs onto the bar. "First gift goes to the Mayor."

She tosses several bags in the Mayor's direction. The Mayor promptly tears into them and then coos happily. "Italian shoes! They're divine!"

More gifts are divided among those gathered. IG, CW, and Stardoe cry out as they view their stash of Italian chocolates, olive oil, 50-year-old bottles of balsamic vinegar, and truffles. Rabid is thrilled with the Italian books signed by the authors. Det twirls her new hand-sewn cape before crashing into Bubba holding a boar's leg still with the hair on it. JD models a new apron that says 'Kiss the Cook, he's Italian.' KS stands empty-handed amongst the crowd, looking up at her sister hopefully.

"Well, that's the lot of it!" Kande dusts off her hands and prepares to jump off the bar.

"You didn't get anything for me?" KS says in a deadly still voice. The entire group takes two large steps back.

"Oh right! How could I have forgotten?" Kande rummages again in the bag, turning it upside down and shaking it. Something small falls with a clink on the bar. Kande picks it up and grins, handing it to KS. "There you go."

KS looks at the keychain she's holding in her hand. "You're giving me the keychain to the car you rented in Italy?" she says incredulously.

Kande looks around at the group. "It was a mini! I drove a mini. But look on the other side of it."

KS looks. The keychain says, 'My sister went to Italy and all I got was...' She scowls. "It's too small to complete the sentence."

She launches herself at Kande. The two tumble to the floor in a blur of limbs. The Mayor shoos the group to watch the Red Speedo revue and Dancing Dana's in their new Italian routine. "Life's back to normal, people!"
