I *like* JAG, but I have to agree with both of you that there's simply no comparison in the Harm/Mac relationship to the MSR! There's really been no TV couple that I think even comes close to Mulder and Scully. The closest screen equivalents would probably be some of those old 1940s screen couples like Bogey and Bacall or Tracey and Hepburn.
But I think the only real comparison are with famous literary lovers like Romeo and Juliet or Catherine and Heathcliff.
