...and forefinger as she winds down her impassioned speech about revolts. A large crowd now surrounds her, many are tourists to Shipperville, drawn by her loud voice and something deeper and more sinister that they haven't yet begun to understand.

As the crowd begins an almost inaudible chant, SMH looks down at the glowing and throbbing spot between her fingers. "What the heck was on those tunnel walls, anyway?" she wonders aloud.

Meanwhile, back at the klub Rabid is frightening the small throng of evildoers with tales of her Uncle Rory. "First he was in the entertainment business and then he went into labor law," she says in a scary voice.

"Labor law?" Kande quavers. Rabid nods and winks at Bubba, who gives her the alien version of a thumbs-up.

"Your uncle worked in the entertainment business?" KS says, her eyes lighting up behind her dark glasses. She has changed from her usual cami's to a sequined white sleevless dress, cut low in front and even lower in back. She's also wearing long white gloves and spike heels.

"What in the world are you wearing?" Kande squeaks as she and the others do a doubletake and squint at KS.

"I've just had a successful run with the interactive mystery play I wrote for the Friends of the Library back in Oregon," KS brags.

"La-de-da," Kande mimics her and then throws up her hands to protect her face. True to form, KS strips off a glove and gives Kande a quick jab to the nose.

"That's enough you two," CW scolds and turns back to Rabid. "Tell us more scary tales about your Uncle Rory. Are you going to need a flashlight for under your chin when you get to the real scary part? Maybe we should turn off the lights and roast marshmallows over an open fire."

"RORY'S IN TOWN?!" a voice screeches behind the mob at the bar. All dive for cover as Aunt Madge roars into the klub.
