there's an awful lot of it out there in the X-Files fan fiction world.

Mulder and Scully's relationship is based on trust, friendship and mutual respect. Whether or not they shoud have or did become romanticaly involved depends a lot on who you talk to. Some fans are all for it while others would prefer they just remain the best of platonic friends. Some are kind of inbetween. No one is right and no one is wrong but I think everyone can agree that Mulder and Scully have a special bond.
