Subject: Joining Part II

I've been planning for a while to join Makaan and Rawn here. The problem is, Makaan, when he was first hatched into the echoing abyss of of mind, was half-dragon and half-griffen, which, when added to half-human, is not only too many halves, but obviously, not allowed, being draconic and all of that. So, I had to change him. Is that enough ramboling. I'm sure. ^_^ *random explosion*

Name- Rawn Aether

Age- 19

Gender- Female

Primary (Favourite) Color- Light Blue

Secondary (Second Favourite) Color- White

Species- Asian Tiger

Appearance- Rawn appears mostly human, though covered with extremely light blue fur, appearing almost albino. The illusion is discontinued, however, with her eyes, which are very deep blue with a tiger-slit pupil. She has a small nose that appears a blending of feline and human, two tiger-like fangs, and pointed tiger ears where human ears would be on the sides of her head. A tail of white-blonde hair is pulled back behind her ears. She has a very slight, thin form, with taloned hands and tiger paws instead of feet, and a four-foot long tiger tail. Her stripes are a very, very dark blue, appearing almost black. She wears flamboyant clothing of various shades of blue and turquoise, and a half-face mask in the shape of a stylized sun. Huge amounts of silver and white gold jewelry hang from her dresses and skirts, containing all of her wealth in less inconveniant embodiments than coins in a pouch. She carries little but her clothing, her jewelry, and a single wooden flute, with which she makes her living as a bard.

Personality- Quiet, contemplative, and calm, Rawn rarely shows any self-expression except in playing her flute and singing, for which she has great talent. Any humor she displays in usually dry, soft, and surprising in it's quality, and generally aimed at her foster-brother Makaan.

Appearance- This should be fun. ^_^ Makaan is about six feet tall, which is six inches shorter than his foster sister, but he is built far more robustly. He has a small, peacock-like crest on the top of his head, round eyes on a human-like face, a short beak, and no ears. His neck is thick, like a human's neck, but very long. He has four 'wings,' on pair coming from human shoulders and having taloned, human hands on the second joint (wingspan approx. 3 ft) and the second pair coming from his shoulder blades (wingspan approx. 5 ft). He can fly for short distances with both wings, glide with the pair on his back, and sort of control a fall with the taloned pair. He has a slight human chest with a keelbone, large, flat talons instead of feet, and, of course, a full, five-foot peacock tail, of which he is supremely vain. Covered head to ankle with irredescent blue and green feathers, Makaan does not need the flamboyant clothing Rawn wears, and instead wears a simple pair of breeches and some gold jewelry. A garish lute, painted red with metallic gold swirls and stripes, hands across his neck, robbed of the dignity it bore in earlier years when it's wood was plain and polished.

Personality- Vain but cheerful, Makaan was fostered by Rawn's parents when he was orphaned in unknown circumstances, when he was, to their best guesses, 4, and Rawn aged 2. Makaan has two prides of his life- the lute which Rawn's tutor in the bardic arts taught him to play in his younger years, which circumstances urged him to paint gaudy colors to make it more appealing as the instrument of a bard, and his long and shimmery tail. Makaan's rather too-cheerful disposition makes up for Rawn's seriousness, and his good humor takes the place of her's between her rare, wry comments.

Makaan and Rawn share a sajaern, mottled violet, gold and red, named Caleo, whose function is to hold the worn, cliche hat in the crowd for the coins to be dropped in. ^_^
