I completely agree with you. When Scully went to the military hospital, I couldn't figure out what the hell she was doing! I still say that she must know *someone* from med school whom (who?) she can trust!

Why wasn't she more freaked out when Doggett told her that her doctor also treated Haskell's wife?

She still hasn't figured out who can be trusted.
