in Entertainment Weekly. As for what I meant about DD and GA--they did get along on the screen but there were rumors about how they didn't always get along on the set. After she won an award (Golden globe?) and he didn't, I heard him joke about it but in a questionably sarcastic manner on Letterman.

You're right about the 8 years lasting longer than her marriages. It's too bad that some things just don't seem to go well for GA. I feel sorry for her kids too. Kids need a decent dad around and somehow weekends or whatever arrangements that are made don't always work out no matter how good the intentions.

Sorry I didn't get back as fast as I would have liked. I wish more people would post here as we could get some really good conversations going.
