A form can be seen cresting the hill through the walls of the pass wearily, limping along. A true shadow of a former self, this strange black thing limps along through the high pass walls and into the inner territory, dragging feet and moving as though through mud. Eyes look around dully for a moment, and nostrils set in a muzzle with a fresh scar distill, trying to ascertain the reality of the situation. The Fresian's big head flings up as he realizes the earth under his feet is real, and the old familiar smells are real. His oversize ears prick and he gives one throaty, barely audible nicker before sinking to his feet. "I'm home." He whispers shakily, hardly daring to believe his own words.
