 This thought is completely unoriginal, but i thought it was moderately profound, so:

Just like in Star Wars, there exist a "force": something which binds everything in the universe together, living or dead. And that thing is... duct tape. A similar parallel is that both the force and duct tape have a light and dark side of them, and they can be used for both good and evil. For example, the same piece of tape that holds a car bumper on can be used to tape closed the mouth of the whiny kid you're babysitting. Well, those are both good, so an evil use would be to tape the remote control to the ceiling.
