It does seem weird that CBS just up and fired them, without even giving them a chance to explain. After all, actors are human beings and they can have the same legitimate reasons for being late to work -- illness, family problems, car problems, etc. -- that any other employees do.
Does anybody else think George Eads' explanation makes him sound like he was hungover? Is he known to have a drinking problem? Because it is a *little* strange for anybody not to be sure of making it into work on their first day back after a vacation of about four months.
