Yes SMH I menat the two hour premiere. They had two different titles for it on my guide. I guess they had a long time to build the new Alatraz but since they do have tours there I wonder how they could do it in secret.

CW my cousin who lives in Northern CA visited Alcatraz a few years ago. I can't remember what she said about it now. I think she thought it was a creepy place. I'll have to ask her about it again sometime. I'd like to go there to. I'm fascinated with prison stories. I recently watched The Shawshank Redemption again.

Al Capone and other mobsters were there. I wonder if we'll hear more about them or were they all there much earlier. They seem to just be covering prisoners who were still there in 1960.

I do have a bone to pick with the writers. Hurley aka Dr. Diego said no one ever escaped from Alcatraz. Another movie from years ago I liked was called "Escape from Alcatraz." It was about three cons (one played by Clint Eastwood) who did indeed escape. They were never heard from again and some assumed they drwoned in the water but no one knows. I thought it was based on a true story. Good movie.
