I'm not sure, det. I do like Timothy Hutton, as you seem to well remember!

However, I watched "Secrets and LIes" on Sunday night, under the impression that it was a TV movie, only to realize as it was nearing the end that it's a limited-run series that will have several more episodes. And, having begun it, I kind of want to keep watching to see how it ends up.

As both "S&L" and "American Crime" deal with murdered kids, I don't think I'll watch "American Crime" as there are only so many "dead children" shows a Mom and Grandma can handle!
