This post contains very vague, minor spoilers for episodes five and six. It's more about what does NOT happen than what does:

I have to wonder what Robert Patrick did to piss off Chris Carter?? I didn't much care for the character of John Doggett, but honesty compels me to admit that he was a fairly major part of the show for the last couple of seasons it originally aired. Yet he is never once seen -- or even mentioned -- during the revival.

I also think it's kind of ironic that I seem to be the only one who has noticed or commented on the total absence of Doggett in the revival, considering that I was fairly upfront about my dislike of the character.
