Subject: Speechless

Typically I find most sitcoms rather boring. I do watch Big Bang Theory and that was it until I saw Speechless. I was a special ed consultant for 11 school districts for most of my teaching career. My students had physical or health disabilities that impacted their education and everything I saw in this show are really true things that can and do happen. Minnie Driver is in the show and is fantastic as the mother. Now that I like it I've probably doomed it to one season but I will enjoy it while I can.
