That was a horribly contrived ending!! Wasn't CTU made aware of the shot Chinese guy coming over? They only have one doctor? Shouldn't someone have radioed Jack that he was busy and to take the suspect to another hospital?
This was done to make Audrey mad at Jack & to give another example of Jack's win at any cost style. Finally this way of Jack's really caused the death of an innocent. No brushing this off later. Chloe is the perfect woman for Jack anyway, Audrey is rail thin & not attractive in the least.
Palmer returns and gets in trouble right off the bat. What happened to him? He was the consumate leader & now he's been a screw up these last 2 seasons. Looks like Marwan wants to launch at China & start a war in the preview. But if that's the plan, why record a message of responsiblity? Maybe I'm misjudging the preview, they can be misleading. Guess they want to take the heat off Muslims so the Chinese (who aren't so vocal) step in for some.
Chloe's just in shock. Did she forget that she quit & is only on until the crisis is over? After this, she can go work for some private firm & never deal with secret agent stuff again.
