I had to quit watching Alcatraz. It was giving me nightmares.

I don't know why some shows, like Alcatraz, bother me (at least subconsciously) and others, that are objectively as scary or scarier (i.e. XF and Grimm) don't. But no TV show is worth losing a good night's sleep over, so when I come across one that effects me this way, I just quit watching.
