I'm going to post here to see if anyone notices. hee😊 Too many spoilers for me in the group right now. Plus I still like this better for discussion which isn't happening much over there. I miss our thoughtful posts.

We sure went from happy to sad quickly. Once again William is a major player. I cant help but think there will be a resolve to this arc.I just hope it isnt sad.
Sheila Larkin lucked out playing Mrs. Scully this time. 'You want me back on X-Files? Well I dunno... all I have to do is lay in bed? Sure!'

I dont have much else to say on this one other than it seems unfinished re William.
The monster was ok. Very creepy.

Now number 5 I've heard isn't liked as well. I sorta liked Miller and Einstein though I dont think they could carry their own series.

I can see DDs influence on this. His son's name is Miller. Interesti g how they have Scully finds ways to broaden her view on things without dismissing her science.

The mushroom trip went on far too long and reminded me of the episode where Mulder was doing Kung Fu in his underwear. I forget the title. In both cases I gotta say DD overdoes it on physical comedy. He just isn't as funny as he thinks he is in that area. It is a difficult genre to pull off well. He is so much better at the subtle humor and facial expressions.
I know I can comment on that here as a fan without getting yelled at by DD worshippers.😉

Storywise I am not sure I buy Mulder having that extensive of a trip from taking a placebo. The power of suggestion can indeed be strong but really, that involved, I dont think so.

Some very nice Mully/Sculder moments at the end. Tell me again, why are they apart? And whose house is that?

I could seriously see them doing another 6 episodes entitled, "The Search for William" with all sorts of conspiracy stuff involved. It would have to have a happy ending though.

Comments welcome. Remember I havent seen the finale as yet bug will probably watch it tomorrow or the next day.
